Professional Biography

Dr. Tyndall-Smith received her undergraduate education from George Washington University during which time she was working as a cardiology technician and a lab teaching assistant. Before pursuing her M.D. from the Drexel University, Dr. Tyndall-Smith was an Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences and Assistant Coordinator of the Honors Program at Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Maryland. At this time, she also taught curriculum development to K-12 teachers and was a textbook reviewer for McGraw-Hill. After completing her residency training in Family Medicine at York Hospital, Dr. Tyndall-Smith worked as a physician in York, Pennsylvania where she was also actively involved in medical volunteer work for the Neighbors Helping Neighbors and For Heart’s Sake programs. Dr. Tyndall-Smith joined the CHFM faculty at the Family Medicine at Jonesville clinic in 2013.
