Faculty and Staff Can Get Multiple Free Downloads of Office 365

The Office 365 ProPlus program for faculty and staff, a program that provides multiple free downloads of Office 365, is now available.  Use this benefit to download full software copies to personal devices (desktops and laptops) of Office 2013 Professional Plus, Office 2011 for Mac, and Office for iPad at no charge. In addition, UF faculty and staff can also download full copies on up to five tablets for free, as well as run personal copies of Office Mobile for iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone on unlimited devices.   The program website has additional information about what’s included, all links necessary to download free copies, and links for training on Office 365.  Members of the university community with questions about the program or who need download assistance should email  or call the UF Computing Help Desk (352-392-HELP/4357).

New Mediasite Feature Available: Vodcasts

UFIT recently brought the Vodcast feature online, providing a streamlined way to share videos recorded using Mediasite. As an addition to existing Mediasite streaming, Vodcasts offer instructors a supplemental teaching tool for offline viewing, even on mobile devices.  Contact the Video & Collaboration Services group with any questions about services and support for Mediasite streaming and Videoconferencing services.
