1. Funding Cycle Now Open – Tech Fee Money Available
The 2016 funding cycle for Technology Fee Grants is now open. “Tech Fee” funding is awarded for projects that can enhance the technology used in UF’s instructional environment. Recent Tech Fee awards include the Levin College of Law Library book scanner, the initial one-year service of campus-wide lynda.com, and Wi-Fi expansion in the Natural Area Teaching Lab (NATL). Complete information about the money available and the process for submitting a concept paper is available on the Technology Fee website. Anyone in the UF community with an idea that fits the submission guidelines is encouraged to apply for funding. All concept papers must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on January 15, 2016. Funding awards will be announced before the end of the Spring 2016 term. Please contact Anne Allen, support administrator for the Technology Fee Advisory Committee, with any questions about the submission process.
2. Winter Break Support – UF Computing Help Desk
Please let your faculty and staff know that the UF Computing Help Desk will provide support during Winter Break.

- After 5:00 p.m. on December 24
- December 25
- January 1
During the Winter Break, walk-in support at the Hub will follow regular business hours except:
- December 21-24, walk-in support is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- December 19-20, no walk-in support available
- December 25-January 3, no walk-in support available
