Professional Biography

Dr. Michael B. Tudeen is a physician and assistant professor at UF Health Family Medicine Main Street Clinic. He grew up in Gainesville and received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Florida. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon where he trained in full spectrum family medicine including high risk obstetrical care. His interests include maternal/child health, family planning, medication assisted treatment, transgender health, as well as point of care ultrasound applications.

Before medical school, he volunteered in rural Mozambique through the Peace Corps where he helped facilitate public health projects relating to HIV/AIDS and during the process met his wife Amanda, a fellow volunteer. When not at work, they now keep their hands full with their growing child and chocolate lab – exploring nature, playing board games or traveling.
