Professional Biography

Dr. Nicholas Dorsey is a physician and assistant professor at UF Health Family Medicine – Haile clinic. He previously also served as a physician for the U.S. Navy Reserves. Dr. Dorsey began his studies at the University of Central Florida receiving a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Biology. He continued his education by attending medical school at St. George’s University and later returned to the state of Florida to complete his residency in family medicine at the University of Florida. He is also a recipient of the Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Award, presented by the Organization of Student Representatives (OSR), which honors a physician who represents the qualities a great mentor and adviser should have while interacting with medical students. Recipients of this award represent their medical practice by teaching ethic, empathy, and service by example.
