Professional Biography

Dr. Samuel Dickmann is a physician and assistant professor at UF Health Family Medicine – Jonesville clinic. He previously worked in the telecommunications industry writing computer software for about ten years but left that position to pursue a medical career. Dr. Dickmann received his medical degree from the University of Florida where he later completed his residency in Family Medicine as well. He is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS), a foundation designed to recognize students, residents, and faculty who demonstrate exemplary compassion for their patients and field of study. In 2014, Dr. Dickmann became a recipient of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award presented by the Gold Foundation to celebrate his commitment and respect for delivering outstanding patient and family care.
