CHFM faculty are involved in the First Year Preceptorship and the Essentials of Patient Care courses, Ethics, and Physical Diagnosis courses in the second year, the eight-week Interdisciplinary Clerkship in the third year, and various electives and our in-patient rotation in the fourth year of the curriculum.
Our faculty continue to receive high marks from medical student in these teaching activities Our medical student teaching activities are directed by Dr. Robert Hatch, who heads our Medical Education program. The accomplishments of our Family Medicine Residency Program are documented in the Residency area of our website.
We graduate ten new family physicians each year from our Gainesville program, and the vast majority of our graduates have established successful family practices around the state.
