About William L Allen

Professor Allen is a member of the UF Health Shands Hospital Ethics Consult Service, is an Editorial Board Member for Genetic Testing and Molecular Biomarkers, and serves on the UF Genetics Institute Executive Committee. He teaches clinical and research ethics to medical students, pharmacy students, and graduate students. His publications include ethical and legal issues related to advances in genetic technology, advance directives, euthanasia, conscientious objection in health professions, and regulatory issues in pain management.
