About Katie M Edenfield

Dr. Katie M. Edenfield is board certified in Family Medicine and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine (CAQSM). She is a team physician for the University of Florida Athletic Association. She also works as a team physician with USA Swimming and has traveled to World Junior Championships, Pan American Games, World Championships, and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in this role. She is Associate Fellowship Director for the UF Sports Medicine Fellowship and is a physician on the Sports Medicine and Acute Care Team at the UF Student Health Care Center. She previously served as co-medical director of the Five Points of Life Marathon. Dr. Edenfield is a former collegiate swimmer and now enjoys running and all water sports. She has special clinical and research interests in Sports Medicine, Nutrition, and Sports Cardiology.
