About Katie M Edenfield
Dr. Katie M. Edenfield is board certified in Family Medicine and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine (CAQSM). She is a team physician for the University of Florida Athletic Association. She also works as a team physician with USA Swimming and has traveled to World Junior Championships, Pan American Games, and World Championships in this role. She is a core faculty member for the UF Sports Medicine Fellowship and is a physician on the Sports Medicine and Acute Care Team at the UF Student Health Care Center. She previously served as co-medical director of the Five Points of Life Marathon for 6 years. Dr. Edenfield is a former collegiate swimmer and now enjoys running and all water sports. She has special clinical and research interests in Sports Medicine, Nutrition, and Sports Cardiology.
