About Steven Gawrys

My name is Steve Gawrys, and I’m originally from Nashville Tennessee. I have a wife and 3 wonderful boys who make life so much fun. I moved out to Utah State for undergrad and played lacrosse there. I stayed in Utah for medical school at Rocky Vista University and completed my rotations in the Salt Lake area. I have spent over 8 years as a lacrosse coach, including teams at the youth level to the college level at Utah Tech and Utah State. I hope to pursue Sports Medicine and Medical Education throughout my career. I chose to come to the University of Florida because of the fantastic, comprehensive training and incredible people here!
