About Vanessa J Lee

My name is Vanessa Lee, APRN, FNP-BC, and I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner. I was inspired to become a nurse practitioner when I worked as a scheduler at an oncology clinic during a gap year following college. I saw the impact the nurses and nurse practitioner had on the patients and I was drawn to the profession. The nurse practitioner gifted me with her stethoscope when she discovered I was interested in nursing, and I continue to use that stethoscope to this day.

I earned my APRN from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to joining UF Health Family Medicine in Old Town, I was a bedside nurse at the bone marrow transplant inpatient unit at UF Health. My areas of interest include preventive care and chronic disease management.

I enjoy spending time with family and my two dogs.
