About James F Medley

James Medley, MD, FAAFP, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his medical degree from the UF College of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in family medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Medley’s professional interests include medical education; office-based procedures; dermatology and dermoscopy; pediatrics and adolescent medicine; and preventive medicine. Additionally, he served on the curriculum committee, the academic committee and the clinic improvement committee of Wake Forest University’s Family Medicine Residency Program.

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), and maintains membership in the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, Gold Humanism Honor Society, and maintains Board Certification in Family Medicine. He is also involved in student education through discussions in the Family Medicine clerkship and through hosting rotating students in clinic.
