Yesha A Patel, APRN

Hi! My name is Yesha Patel and I am a family nurse practitioner at UF Health Family Medicine – Haile Plantation. My clinical practice is focused on preventive care and health maintenance, and I aim to provide a patient-centered, safe and competent health care experience for patients and their families.

My inspiration to become a nurse practitioner is rooted in a life-long interest in the medical field. Even as a child, I knew medicine was my passion because I wanted to help people and make a true difference in their lives. This passion drove me to pursue a career in nursing, where I can positively impact people’s well-being.

I earned my Master of Science in nursing from Chamberlain University and advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) certification in January 2023, after earning bachelor’s degrees in nursing and health science. I am multilingual and speak fluent English, Gujarati and Hindi. In my practice as a family nurse practitioner, I respect cultural diversity and am deeply committed to fostering successful professional and interpersonal relationships with patients and their families.

My goal is to create a trust-based relationship with my patients to ensure they trust our collaborative journey. I am dedicated to actively listening, understanding and working to address each patient’s unique healthcare needs and goals.
