Alexander J Refowich

I was adopted from Russia when I was two and spent my early childhood in New Jersey before moving to South Florida for middle and high school. I studied exercise physiology at UF as an undergrad and was involved with concussion awareness, the UF Emergency Medical Responder program, and UF athletics, predominately with Gators Soccer. I completed medical school at the University of South Florida where I volunteered and did research at the USF Concussion Center. I couldn’t be more excited to return to UF. I chose to pursue family medicine to provide full spectrum care across all ages and am especially interested in sports medicine, mental health, and pediatrics. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, running, tennis, and supporting UF sports. Go Gators!
