I’m originally from a suburb of Dallas, Texas and grew up half the time in West Palm Beach, Florida. I attended Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach studying history. During my third year of undergraduate studies, I began pursuing medical school pre-requisites. My fascination for humanity morphed into the passion of studying patients’ stories. The narrative of a given disease or illness can shape the chapters of a patient’s journey. Primary care physicians can help people take fuller possession of their own life story. That is why I am drawn to practicing family medicine! In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband (and co-resident), reading for leisure, practicing yoga, and extreme couponing!
