About S. Tanner Ward

I was born in Southern California and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I graduated with a degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University before deciding to head south to LSU Health Shreveport for medical school. During my time in medical school, I established two charities dedicated to supporting pediatric and cancer survivor communities. The opportunity to build long-term doctor-patient relationships is what attracted me to family medicine. I was particularly drawn to UF due to our clinic-first curriculum, sports exposure, and exceptional faculty. I am interested in sports medicine, lifestyle medicine and academia. Beyond medicine, most of my time is spent chasing my kids with my wife, Allie. We are so excited to be a part of the CHFM family. Go Gators!
