Owen L Young,

I was born and raised in Athens, GA where I remained to attend the University of Georgia. While at UGA, I discovered my passion for serving my community while directing a student mentorship program in local public schools. I then completed medical school at VCOM Carolinas where I developed a pediatrics health screening clinic. I chose Family Medicine because of my interest in preventive medicine and my desires to empower patients and serve the community. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through running, biking, and watching Georgia football. I also cherish time with my wife and our two cats. Despite my UGA roots, I’m very excited to be part of the awesome UF Family Medicine team!
