I grew up in Orlando, FL and am super excited to be here in Gainesville, FL to train at the University of Florida! For my undergraduate education, I went to the Florida State University where I was actively involved in serving the underserved populations and where my passion for preventative medicine grew. Before attending medical school, I spent some time doing clinical research at the University of South Florida/TGH. I hope to continue to be involved in research in my training here at UF. I am interested in full-spectrum family medicine, procedures, women’s health, preventative medicine, and taking care of people from all walks of life. I chose UF for my residency training because of how supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate the faculty and residents are, along with the numerous opportunities that are available at such a large academic institution. In my free time, I love to explore Gainesville with my husband and my little girl, visit theme parks in Orlando, and travel!

I went to the University of Florida for my undergraduate education where I studied Biomedical Engineering and specialized in Neural Engineering. After graduation, I decided to pursue a career in medicine and found myself interested in a wide variety of topics. I chose family medicine because of the diverse pathology encountered and my passion for preventative medicine. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym and embrace the outdoors. I really enjoy sand volleyball, pickleball, kayaking, and hiking.

I was born in Minnesota and moved to Florida for middle school and high school. I’ve always had a passion for playing sports and ended up playing lacrosse at the University of Minnesota, where I majored in Microbiology and History. During those four years I was active in research, coaching, and leadership roles. Prior to starting medical school, I spent two years as a researcher at the Mayo Clinic and coached various youth and high school lacrosse teams. I am interested in pursuing a career in sports medicine and continue to be involved in the community and research. I enjoy being outdoors with my dogs, playing/watching sports, and spending time with my wife and friends. Go Gators!!

I am from Cincinnati, Ohio and I completed medical school at the University of Cincinnati. I chose family medicine because it provides ample variety and allows me to care for the whole person. Additionally, family med allows me to integrate social determinants of health in my daily practices and provides ample opportunity for health advocacy. I chose UF because of the clinic-first curriculum and premium outpatient training. In my free time you can find me running around Gainesville as I train for various races and marathons or catch me trying new restaurants with my wife!

As someone who came to UF for undergrad, I’m ecstatic to be back. UF has the approachable faculty, supportive colleagues & staff, and the broad spectrum of pathology to meet the needs of anyone hoping to train in the family medicine field. Personally, what draws me to family medicine are the longitudinal relationships & incredible scope of practice. In my free time I can be found catching up on the next movie, snacking, or playing video games on my phone.
