I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, and attended the University of Florida for my undergraduate degree, Go Gators! I completed medical school at LECOM-Bradenton and am excited to return to Gainesville. My passions in Family Medicine include Addiction Medicine and Sports Medicine. I chose UF because of the faculty’s passion for teaching new physicians and the support the residents provide for each other. During my free time, I enjoy running, playing pickleball, traveling with my girlfriend, going to sports car races, and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning.

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where I lived most of my life until I decided to move to Georgia to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with the intention of one day designing the most amazing theme parks. Two years into the program—and right after taking differential equations—I returned home to follow my interest in the medical sciences and completed my bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico. I then went on to pursue a medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus. During medical school, I had the opportunity to further explore my passion for education by participating in Medical Students Pro Education, an organization through which we provided lectures and workshops on pathways to various healthcare careers and on medical topics such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and vital signs. Through this experience in educational outreach, I developed a strong appreciation for the importance of accessible, community-based care. At this point in my journey, I am excited to pursue a career in family medicine, a field that embodies the values I care about most: comprehensive and preventive care, long-term patient relationships, and community impact. Outside of medicine, I enjoy discovering new movies and TV shows(always open to recommendations), keeping up with theme park and roller coaster news, spending time at theme parks, and trying to beat my own high score in arcade basketball. One of my favorite pastimes is playing basketball with my father and sister whenever I have the chance.

I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and have spent my entire life immersed in a community that shaped who I am today. Surrounded by a close-knit family and guided by inspiring mentors in healthcare, I developed a deep appreciation for the role of medicine in improving lives. Over time, this grew into a clear calling to pursue a career where I could care for individuals and families across every stage of life.
In addition to my medical interests, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for sports and the way they foster resilience, teamwork, and lifelong health. Over time, I’ve become increasingly drawn to sports medicine, particularly how it combines preventive care, rehabilitation, and performance optimization. I’m excited to incorporate this passion into my training and future practice. As a lifelong Miami Dolphins and Heat fan, bringing that same energy and dedication to a new chapter makes me incredibly proud to now call myself a Gator. With family in Gainesville and a strong desire to train in a program that values both clinical excellence and personal growth, I couldn’t be more excited to join a residency that supports our passions, encourages exploration, and celebrates the drive to keep improving.

I grew up in Orlando and feel privileged to continue my medical journey here in my home state at the University of Florida. I believe every patient deserves a physician who listens closely and serves as a dedicated partner in their health. My goal is to empower patients and their families with the knowledge and guidance to make informed decisions together, navigating challenges and celebrating successes as a team. My path to medicine was unconventional—I first earned a degree in Accounting from UCF. While I appreciated the analytical problem-solving, I realized my true passion lay in working directly with people, not numbers. This realization led me to pursue and earn my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. My osteopathic training instilled in me a strong commitment to whole-person care and provided extensive experience in hands-on Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT). I chose Family Medicine for the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients of all ages and backgrounds. I was drawn to UF for its reputation for excellence and rigorous training, knowing that well-prepared physicians provide the best care. I’m also deeply passionate about medical education; I believe that teaching sharpens communication skills and keeps physicians at the forefront of medical knowledge—a benefit that ultimately serves patients. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing the piano, staying active, and VR PC gaming with friends. I’m excited to be in Gainesville and look forward to exploring the area’s beautiful natural springs and trails.

I am a proud native of southern Illinois where I met and married my high school sweetheart. I lived my entire life in the small farm town of Cobden, until attending undergrad at nearby Southeast Missouri State University where I played college baseball. I went on to attend Southern Illinois University for medical school where I found my passion for family medicine. I have professional interests in several aspects of primary care including rural medicine, inpatient and outpatient medicine, pediatrics, and the procedural component of family med. I am an avid sports fan and mediocre golf enthusiast. I am a firm believer in the community impact that a great family doctor can make, and I am so excited for the opportunity to train here at UF! It’s great to be a Florida Gator!

I’m from St. Louis and, while I love my hometown, I am so glad to finally be living in the Sunshine State! I earned my JD from Washington University and practiced securities law for several years before pursuing my career in medicine. I returned to WashU for my MD, a shift fueled by my passion for people-centered care. I initially trained in Emergency Medicine before finding my home in Family Medicine, where I’m drawn to the continuity of care, community engagement, interesting procedures and opportunities for advocacy. Outside of medicine, I love sailing, hiking, hearing live music and playing with my Australian Shepherd twins (Oyster and Kenny Gumbo).

I have lived in Florida all my life: I grew up in the West Palm Beach area, earned my bachelor’s degree here at UF, and went to medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Clearwater.
I chose to come to UF for residency, because the people here were so welcoming and seemed to prioritize creating a supportive community for their residents. I also believe this residency provides residents the resources to pursue their specific interests within family medicine.
I really wanted my training to include working with the underserved and rural community, experiencing academic medicine, and the opportunity to learn more about family medicine’s role in women’s health.
In my free time I love to try new restaurants, spend time outdoors running or playing pickleball, and reading.

I was born in Chicago and raised in Syracuse, Utah. I earned my undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Brigham Young University (Go Cougs!) and while there had the opportunity to work as an ATC with BYU football and men’s volleyball. I attended medical school in Southern Utah, where I completed a fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) and developed a passion for integrating OMM into patient care. I’ve always loved sports medicine and also have strong interests in pediatrics, obstetrics, and mental health. From my interview day, I was drawn to UF by the incredible sense of community—Gainesville truly is a special place! Outside the hospital, I enjoy exploring Florida with my amazing wife and two kids, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, and diving into a good podcast or audiobook (Brandon Sanderson is the GOAT). I’m grateful to be part of the CHFM family. Go Gators!

I was born and raised in Tampa Bay and am proud to call Florida home. I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Economics before earning my medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. My path to medicine was shaped by a deep commitment to service and a passion for helping people achieve their best quality of life. I’m especially interested in full-spectrum family medicine with a focus on sports medicine, and I look forward to pursuing fellowship training after residency. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, hiking, all things Disney, and cheering on the Gators and Lightning. My wife and I are thrilled to be back in Gainesville as I begin my residency training with the UF Family Medicine team… Go Gators!
