About Samuel B Dickmann
Samuel Dickmann is a community physician and assistant professor, with a clinical practice at the UFHealth Family Medicine Clinic in Jonesville.
He received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Grove City College in Pennsylvania in 2006. He worked in the telecommunications industry, writing computer software for over a decade before attending medical school at the University of Florida. He received his medical degree in 2014, then went on to complete his family medicine residency at UF, where he served as a chief resident in 2017.
Dr. Dickmann obtained medical licensure from the state of Florida and board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine. He has assumed various leadership roles, including serving formerly as student president and currently as the faculty board president of the Chapman Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Dickmann holds professional membership in the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Florida Academy of Family Physicians. He has received several awards for his work, most recently receiving the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award.
