About Brandon B Herndon
I spent 3.5 years of medical school serving disadvantaged communities as an Equal Access Clinic site coordinator in East Gainesville where I fell in love with Family Medicine. I was named a Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Scholar, which nationally recognizes students with scholastic, volunteer and leadership achievements as well as potential for a successful academic career. I am a co-author of a research article published by the American Journal of Medicine which addresses the beneficial effects of Transition of Care Clinics on hospital readmissions. My clinical interests include Sports Medicine and Addiction Medicine. I enjoy spending my free time playing soccer and woodworking as well as exercising, being outdoors and traveling with my wife and dog.
